Azure Active Directory has supported multi-factor authentication (MFA) for a while now. This feature provides customers a secure authentication platform for web apps, Office 365 and other Microsoft cloud platforms.
#1 - Azure Authenticator App and push notifications
During login, you will be prompted on your Azure app. Press "authenticate" and you will be logged in:
#2 - Azure Authenticator App and One-Time Passcode
During login, enter the code that appears on your Azure app which changes periodically. This option will work just fine without a cellular, data or Wi-Fi connection. This option has the most compatibility.
#3 - Automated phone Calls (No App)
During login attempt, users will receive an automated phone call from Azure. Simply press # on your phone during this call, and you will be logged in.
#4 - Text Messages (No App)
During login, users will receive a text message with a one-time code. The user can either reply to the text to finish the login or enter the code on their computer.
